From there, you can log into Grolier Online Home Access, a wonderful resource for students of all ages and grades. You can follow the directions and get into the Grolier online encyclopedia.
You can find links to many different educational sites, such as the Saint Paul Public Library, Newsbank, Mapquest, and even more sources of information. Some sites listed on that page are for use by "school based" computers only, since there are subscription fees involved. But several sites, like the StarTribune, MapQuest, and Twincities.com, are free sites you can visit, from a home based computer.
