Pre-Kindergarten
Pre-kindergarten is a full-day program offering quality early childhood education to Wellstone's youngest students. Pre-kindergarten aims to provide our students with the foundational academic and social skills to be successful in Kindergarten.
Our pre-kindergarten classrooms are a literacy-rich and developmentally appropriate environment. Our reading area, writing centers, and dramatic play centers encourage all students to talk, read, and write. In pre-kindergarten, students learn through both active play and structured group experiences. Month-long areas of study promote vocabulary development and abundant exploration.
