Ms. Matter

 

Hello! My name is Kelly Matter and I am the English Pre-Kindergarten Teacher at Wellstone. I began teaching Pre-K in 2016. I have also taught Kindergarten, First Grade and Reading Recovery. I have been teaching at Wellstone since 1995. I am from St. Paul and I graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a degree in Elementary Education. I have a Master's degree in Teaching and Learning from St. Mary's University. 

 

I live in St. Paul, with my husband, Dave and my 3 children, Erin, Sean and Tara, and our 3 cats. My children are involved in a variety of activities, which keep me very busy. When I have free time, I like to go for walks, scrapbook, read and bake.
