Ms. Annie Schlaefer

Hello! My name is Ms. Annie. I am a speech therapist at Wellstone and I am honored to be a part of this community. I will mostly be working with 1st-5th grade students at Wellstone. I graduated from Luther College with a bachelors degree in Biology in 2015 and then moved to Maine to work at a middle and high school as an educational farm manager/educator and a cross country ski and soccer coach. In 2018 I biked across the country and decided that I wanted to continue to work with students, and started school at the University of Minnesota to get a masters degree in speech therapy. I am comfortable speaking both English and Spanish (hablo español).  

When I am not at school, you'll find me outside, growing food, running, playing soccer, biking, cross country skiing, camping, singing, cooking, and eating yummy food.
